best buddies

these are just a few of the pictures we have of adam and our nephew wade having some QT together. it is really funny how wade has totally just latched on to adam. mom is still definitely #1, but wade totally recognizes adam and gets all hyper and smiley when he picks him up. adam's feeling like quite the baby whisperer these days since wade also cries now if you try and take him from adam. we think it's pretty cute!

widget
even though i think the widgets are a little freaky, i have added one anyway for baby girl. then i can instantly know how many days are left since i have officially started counting down the days left rather than how many days/weeks along i am. is that bad?

read all about it
so i have always been a little obsessed with the news. when i was little, i used to watch 20/20 with hugh downs and barbara walters when it was on after TGIF, no matter what the topic was. then, when the oklahoma city bombing happened, i collected EVERY newspaper article written and kept them in a bin in my closet. i recently discovered this bin and recognized lots of the articles i had read a million times. i guess i thought when i got older we wouldn't have newspapers anymore and these little yellowed, filthy papers would be worth something? who knows. anyway- i am always driving adam nuts with my random newspaper articles and crazy dateline specials. but i love it. and i've currently been obsessed (again) with this story. i followed it in 2006 when it happened but it's back in the news now thanks to the book written by the two families. i was going to read it until i saw 2 interviews this week that were EXACTLY the same questions/answers...so i realized i've probably gotten all the suspenseful details from the book via TV. still, this is one of the craziest things i've ever heard....in other "news"... i've never seen something circulate via mass emailing as fast as this... cnn thinks they're so funny with their april fool's-ing but you never know... brother snoop dogg could come around.

project runway
so i realized if i never post anything, no one is ever going to read my blog, and if no one is reading, what is the point of posting? here is my latest struggle and perhaps some of you bloggers can relate:i think it is safe to say that a large percentage of TV viewers in america record their favorite programs to watch later on when 1, it is more convenient, and 2, WITHOUT commercials. that being said, is it really necessary to publicize the winner of project runway and the AI cast-offs EVERYWHERE I LOOK? i literally have been checking my email and perusing the internet with one eye closed for fear that i may experience what i experienced last week before part 1 of the project runway season finale. i accidentally discovered that rami was going on and chris was O-U-T. luckily i was pleased with this choice but it was VERY hard to watch with other people pretending i didn't know the result.
as for AI, i don't really care as much because the results show is just a bunch of babble from ryan trying to be a journalist or something. i did see the results on E for this week and i am SO glad luke and danny are out.
i have managed to dodge the info about project runway so who knows if it will be fierce christian, drapery rami or monotone/40 year old jillian. DON'T TELL ME in your comments either, i haven't watched it. thank you.
PS- if you are wondering why my title is project runway but my picture is american idol, then clearly you have not understood this post. if i search for an image of anything project runway, the winner will be revealed to me INSTANTLY.

48 days later........
here is a new post. so maybe i am not a good blogger. somehow it was easier to get in to it when i was sitting in front of a computer all day. but now, for those of you who don't know, i nanny crazy children all day so the web surfing has come to an abrupt halt. the job change and all that it entails is for another-- highly entertaining-- post. we'll get to that in another 48. jk.
so here is the biggest blog worthy news that we have. baby girl due july 2008.
this picture was from an ultrasound a few weeks back so maybe now she is the size of a grapefruit or something. the comparisons to fruits and vegetables are pretty funny and kind of weird. we are excited to have this little person in our lives in another couple months. it's actually going by pretty fast but i'm sure i'll be saying something totally different when i am the size of a cruise ship. speaking of babies, could you die over this picture of adam? so funny. i love it.

in other news, adam took a job with a company in FL so we'll be moving there the first of may!
